About The Panasonic PRO Awards
The Panasonic PRO Awards are an international recognition program that celebrates projects which set new standards in sustainable design and technology. By showcasing innovative uses of Panasonic’s heating, cooling, and renewable energy systems, the awards highlight how advanced engineering can directly support carbon reduction and healthier living environments.

Why Júlia House Was Recognized
In 2025, Equinox International Kft. received the Family House Award for the Júlia House, a net-zero carbon residence in Diósdliget.
The project stood out because it combines:
- Integrated systems – a Panasonic Aquarea T-CAP 9 kW air-to-water heat pump paired with a 24-panel solar PV system
- Measurable efficiency – COP/EER values between 3.17 and 4.84, ensuring minimal primary energy use
- Whole-life sustainability – CLT timber structure, 75–85% recycled cellulose insulation, and life-cycle carbon neutrality
- Comfort and health – high daylight autonomy, acoustic quality, natural ventilation, and VOC-free finishes

Why This Matters For Us
Winning the Panasonic PRO Award confirms that architecture and engineering innovation work best together. For us, Júlia House is not only Hungary’s first residential building designed for life-cycle carbon neutrality – it is also a demonstration of how families can live in homes that are both sustainable and deeply comfortable.
