EQUINOX is an international, interdisciplinary sustainability practice focusing on the built environment. Our activities cover Architecture, Sustainability Consultancy, Property Development, Research, and Education. Our projects are interdisciplinary, i.e. architectural design, sustainability, building envelope, structures, MEP, etc. are developed in a close collaboration throughout the design process. Environmental optimisation and dynamic thermal modelling are part of the design process in our own projects as well as in consultancy projects. We are seeking individuals who are seeking for excellence and want to be part of a fresh & growing business.
Responsibilities
- Understanding and developing designs for new and existing buildings in the domains of MEP engineering, utilities infrastructure, operational energy & carbon optimisation, building envelope, bioclimatic design strategies, etc.
- Carry out dynamic energy modelling for both peformance-modelling and compliance modelling purposes, using domestic and international references such as ASHRAE 90.1. or CIBSE Guide F, etc.
- Generate drawings, 3D models, calculations, analysis, presentations related to projects
- Prepare structured presentations of complex information in a simple graphic manner
- Prepare building permission and detailed design documentations
- Assist where required in the coordination with consultants & authorities
- Advantage: proven experience with detailed HVAC modelling and compliance modelling

Software
DesignBuilder, EnergyPlus, Radiance, WinWatt, Therm, ArchiCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper, Ladybug Tools, etc.
