The task was to create a new residential district, with particular emphasis on services and outdoor recreational areas. The design aims to provide family-friendly housing within a livable, human-scaled environment.
Throughout the planning process, the site’s biodiversity was carefully considered in collaboration with landscape architects. Based on the “sponge city” concept, rainwater collection and reuse play a key role in the project.
The buildings are four storeys in height. Along the facades, a ventilated secondary skin provides passive thermal protection and shading.
The spatial organization prioritizes walkability and community interaction, with shared green courtyards and pedestrian-friendly connections linking the buildings. The architectural character is defined by a balanced composition of compact volumes and open spaces, creating a cohesive yet diverse urban fabric.
